Spent the whole day putting in 2 items. Not very difficult, but kinda tedious. However, the result is fantastic.
And here they are on! they looks so awesome! I wired them up so that i can turn them on whenever the key is in the 'on' position rather than when the dash lights are on.
No intake....
And on...
Another just because sr20
Supposedly, the type s intake is pretty much equal to any gains a complete CAI would give you (they proved it on a dyno no less). Difference being the noise. We will see how the butt dyno reacts to this oem swap.
Really need a strut bar now, and to powdercoat the valve cover in a similar black.

I like it! Really transforms the front end. I'm a sucker for simple factory swaps that change a car just enough for a few discerning people in the know to recognize.
Plus JDM = hotness

Exactly! Well put.
And for comparison, here are the USDM foglights. I didnt like these at all. The jdm set is much hotter.

looks great! Nice clean bay too!
side note: has always amused me the way that cable runs over the valve cover on the H-series

I assume youre talking about the alternator wire? Haha, i wouldnt think twice about it, since i never look at B, F or K series motors often enough.
The engine bay is definitely not as clean as the body, but im working on it. But until i get the valve cover replaced, or powder coated, im not going out of my way to make it shine just yet. I try to clean the VC but it keeps flaking, so i stopped.
